Hatsu Uma Festival at Fushimi Inari Shrine
This grand festival is held from 8:00 am Feb. 9.
The festival is based on the legend that the shrine deity, Inari (protector of grains, especially rice, and thus wealth/business in general), descended from heaven to the top of Mount Inari;
